Thanks for all the support I put my hear into this project, more T’s coming in the weeks and I’m going all out for the fall not just T-shirts (thats all I’m gonna say)

I’ll also post this old poem I wrote back in my highschool days to encourage yall to chase those dreams. peace see yall tomorrow.

LIVING A DREAM

THINKING….

Seems to be all I do

Thinking of me, thinking of you thinking of all that’s true

And false

My pulse steadily beats as a measurement of time

I lived my life in my mind over and over, and in my prime,

I was an African prince of Zemunda, like Eddy Murphy looking for his queen

But in reality I’m just a young man hopefully headed somewhere, looking for his dream

Life isn’t what it seems

When reality and subconscious become intertwined

You can’t demarcate from what’s real and what’s in your mind

Although if you control the supernatural power you behold

You can unlock the doors to riches untold

The power which I speak of is your mind fused with reality

Well grounded and then you will truly see

The blindfold that is vanity

Sanity comes with clarity

Your self reflection balanced with reality

Is the causality of prosperity

Living in your mind without action isn’t gonna get you anywhere

You never know where you’re going till you know where you’ve been

And to know where you’ve been, you have to know who you are with pure reflection

No fantasies, no biases, no dejections

So keep thinking, keep dreaming, as these are your beams of light

Channel them into reality and your grounded dreams will take Flight!

this weekend you should be watching….

kobe-bryant-6-med

Kobe Doin’ Work on ESPN, Saturday at 8pm. I’m a knight in King James court but the Mamba gets love too, besides when was the last time you saw a spike lee joint?

bruce_lee

How Bruce Lee changed the world on the history channel  at 8pm on SUNDAY! (it’s quite obvious I love the history channel by now right?)

“This groundbreaking documentary is taking a completely new approach to Bruce Lees legacy. More than just a biography, this film will explore Lees global impact to see how he has influenced popular culture in fitness, cinema, music, sport, design, fashion, philosophy and other realms. Filmed in High Definition, this cinematic journey will travel across the United States and Asia, taking the Lee family on a trip back to Bruces roots in Hong Kong and China. In addition we have been granted unique access to family archive, home movies and all material owned by the Bruce Lee Foundation.

We have been interviewing actors, moviemakers, athletes, musicians, artists, designers and others who were influenced by Bruces work. Among those who have already taped or agreed to tape an interview are John Woo, Jackie Chan, LL Cool J, Jet Li, Michelle Yeoh, Brett Ratner, Eddie Griffin, RZA from the Wu Tang Clan, Guy Ritchie, Stan Lee, The Gorillaz, Michael Bay, Ang Lee, UFC’s Randy Couture, UFC President Dana White and Parkour founder Sebastian Foucan.”

Outlaw 1933- John Dillinger

john_dillinger

I spent the first half of the day yesterday watching a nice little documentary about the recession criminals of the 1930’s. From Baby Face Nelson, to Bonnie and Clyde, none of the characters intrigued me like John Dillinger. Before I go any further I do not in anyway support crime or criminals but I do admire the legend this man left behind.

A modern day robin hood, Dillinger robbed banks all around the Mid West reclaiming the loot taken from the people by the banks (he didn’t give the money back to the people of course). He was captured several time s and escaped EVERY TIME! in one account he escaped a high security prison fooling the guards with a wooden gun!

Dillinger became a national legend with fame rivaling that of the king, Elvis Presley. Dillinger was infamously named Public Enemy Number 1 by the newly founded FBI who failed horribly to capture him on more than one account.

dillinger

Dillinger still had honor and decency in his crime, using violence only as a medium for fear and protection, he did not kill anyone except for and accident. Dillinger lived his life just as he wanted, hiding in plane site and enjoying every second of it. Dillinger was betrayed by “the lady in the red dress” (it was actually orange). Whose betrayal was a result of her being a Romanian immigrant facing deportation. Dillinger was killed on site due to the mockery he made of the  national law enforcement.

Dillinger was loved by millions, he once robbed a bank giving a customer his money back stating “it’s not your money we want, it’s the banks”.  Even his hostages gave accounts of laughs and jolly times they had during captivity.

Dillinger was a legend and as I write this I just found out there is a movie in the works portarying these outlaws called public enemies. Johnny Depp will play Dillenger, can’t wait!!

opps there goes another rubber tree plant…….dang ant!

When I was in NY I had so many awesome experiences that it’s hard to pick and choose what to blog about, but this I felt would be a sin if I didn’t. When we got to Ant’s crib in harlem he let me see some of the heat he was packing, and I don’t mean the Miami heat sports memorabilia, I mean sneakers I never thought I would get to hold in my life. I’m slowly loosing interest in the hobby (as is everyone else) but this got me excited. I’ll shut up now and let the flicks to the talking

Goodbye Schuylkill Haven

img_5511

As you all know I left the infamous skook for the last time on friday. I will be resuming at University Park to continue my Penn state education in the fall.

The first time I set eyes on the skook I hated the place, it was so removed from the real world that I told my mother I’d rather stay home for a year than go there. The fact that everyone that went there “ended up” there wasn’t cool either, I was a victim of a weak financial aid system. Of all the schools I applied to, I got into everyone (except cornell and columbia, go figure) I picked Boston University and Penn State University as my number one and two, by the time I found out Boston wasn’t giving me enough money to go there it was too late. Penn State main campus was filled, and I “ended up” in Schuylkill Haven PA.

sk_001

Nothing is ever as bad as it seems though, we bashed the town (i’m famous for calling it sam’s town, similar to the town in the killers album that is dry and lacks ambition) we bashed it every chance we got, and we were right to, it had very little to offer us city  folk. Everything was far away so if you didn’t drive you pretty much studied as entertainment.

sk_005

Thing is we spent so much time bashing the skook we didn’t realize the great things it offered us till we left. we didn’t understand that being there would change our lives forever. I met some of the coolest people ever at this place, I made friend I will keep forever. We had a very close relationship very similar to family, as I write this I am glad I am out of Schuylkill but I will never again bash it because I would have never met or grown to love the people I found there if it didn’t exist.

Personally Schuylkill became my mind outside my head. It was so quiet I could easily get lost in my thoughts for days on end and I became a better man for it.

sk_003

If I could do it all over again I WOULD NOT! but I’m glad I got the opportunity to do it at least once. heck if It wasn’t so quite I would have never had enough time to set up the brand as I wanted.

sk_007

I had a great time here and a lot of other people would agree they did too. I don’t drink but this picture below give you an idea of some of the nights that were had here.  from parties, to get togethers to chilling at my apartment, or in the 2, 3, 4 and 1, we always made fun for ourselves.

sk_004

BYE BYE SKOOK! and to all my skook people, I love you all, no need for names, you know who you are! see you at the park! or see you over the summer, or see you when God wills it. have a great summer.
